Japanese Studies Fellowship Program Open Call Announcement

International Phd Scholarships Applicants who are in the United States who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents must submit their applications to the Tokyo headquarters of the Foundation not later than January 1, 2011, by using different forms. Doctoral Candidates must have achieved ABD status at the time the fellowship begins. Applicants for graduate programs and researchers (both Long Term and Short Term) must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience in research, teaching and writing in the humanities or social sciences.

International Phd Scholarships Description: In order to promote Japanese Studies overseas, this program provides support for outstanding scholars in the field by providing opportunities to conduct research in Japan.
